HTC One X Review

HTC quadcore powered phone, the latest of the HTC smartphone’s promises to live up to its tag line - “Quite brilliant”. First things first, what exactly is a “quad core processor”. In short, it basically is a CPU (control processing unit) that has four different processing cores contained within a single physical chip, hence the power of four in a single chip, therefore, faster speed with lesser space. It promises to be more than a phone, an "entertainer" if you will. With a giant 4.7 HD screen, the picture quality is remarkable making your gaming experience even more realistic and unforgettable.

Along with all this, it has an 8 megapixels camera with auto focus, smart LED flash, and a BSI sensor (for better low-light captures) allowing crisp photos to be clicked even while taking action shots. It also has a gyro sensor, G-sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor. It has a F2.0 aperture and a 28 mm lens with 1080p HD video recording. With 1.3 megapixel front camera, it also gives you the option of video chat too. You can capture a photo in the middle of recording HD video.
The music experience is also formidable in HTC One X with audio supported formats including .aac, .amr, .ogg, .m4a, .mid, .mp3, .wav, .wma (Windows Media Audio 9) and video supported formats like .3gp, .3g2, .mp4, .wmv (Windows Media Video 9), .avi (MP4 ASP and MP3). Audio recording is in .amr format while video recording is in .mp4. The battery capacity of 1800 mAh makes sure that you can enjoy for longer hours without your entertainment being cut short. As far as connectivity is concerned it has a 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, Bluetooth with aptX enabled (Bluetooth 4.0), Wi-Fi: IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n, DLNA for wirelessly streaming media from the phone to a compatible TV or computer and a micro-USB 2.0 (5-pin) port with mobile high-definition video link (MHL) for USB or HDMI connection (special cable required for HDMI connection). It has a sophisticated sleek design with well-rounded edges and being sturdy at the same time.
All in all, the HTC One X is phone worth an “experience” and among the "must have" list.
